Toath, 80, of Hollsopple, died Oct. 15, 2002 at home. Born March 26, 1921 in Nanty Glo. Preceded in death by parents, wife Emily who died March 23, 1997, and brothers Michael and Andrew. Survived by these children. John, Emily, Patricia, and Rick Also survived by nine grand-children and seven great-grandchildren. Brother of Mary Anna and Irene. Member of St Anne Catholic Church. Retiree Navy veteran with 22 years service and a veteran of World War II. Former founder, owner, operator of Jet Beer Distributor Hollsopple. Served at Conemaugh Township supervisor from 1982-1988. Member of Hollsopple Post 8861, Jerome Legion, Jerome Polish Falcons, Jenner Rod and Gun Club, and Ferndale Sportsman's Club. Family receiving friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville, where vigil for the deceased will be held Thursday afternoon. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Friday at St. Anne Catholic Church, Davidsville. Rev. Michael Lewandowski, OFM Conv. officiating. Committal Holy Cross Cemetery with military graveside service. Those who wish may make donations to Windber Hospice or St. Anne Catholic Church.
