  Albert Toia, 84, of Ohio Township died Dec. 12, 1997, in St. Francis
  Medical Center North.  Born June 28, 1913, in Sewickley. Son of the late
  Francesco and Anna (Cannister) Toia.  Survived by wife, Melda (Williams)
  Toia of Ohio Township; four children: Mary Linda Prekop and Ann Hiben, both
  of Coraopolis; Albert R. Toia of Ohio Township, and Ronald F. Toia Sr. of
  Avalon.  Preceded in death by daughter, Dorothy Steele.  Survived by 8
  grandchildren: Keith Steele, Maria Prekop, Brenda Toia, Amanda, Angela,
  Audrey, Jason and Ronald Toia Jr. and four great-grandchildren.  Albert
  lived in Avalon for about 50 years and was a member of Greenstone Methodist
  Church.  Former member of Somerset Kiwanis Club.  Worked for Belleave School
  District as a maintainence man.  Formerly worked for Greyhound Bus as a bus
  driver.  Visitation from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Irvine Funeral Home,
  702 Beaver Street, Sewickley, where services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday,
  the Rev. James Shaver.  Burial, Sewickley Cemetery.
