Born June 28, 1913, in Sewickley. Son of the late Francesco and Anna (Cannister) Toia. Survived by wife, Melda (Williams) Toia of Ohio Township; four children: Mary Linda Prekop and Ann Hiben, both of Coraopolis; Albert R. Toia of Ohio Township, and Ronald F. Toia Sr. of Avalon. Preceded in death by daughter, Dorothy Steele. Survived by 8 grandchildren: Keith Steele, Maria Prekop, Brenda Toia, Amanda, Angela, Audrey, Jason and Ronald Toia Jr. and four great-grandchildren. Albert lived in Avalon for about 50 years and was a member of Greenstone Methodist Church. Former member of Somerset Kiwanis Club. Worked for Belleave School District as a maintainence man. Formerly worked for Greyhound Bus as a bus driver. Visitation from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Irvine Funeral Home, 702 Beaver Street, Sewickley, where services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev.
