  Wanda Marie Tokar, 57, Somerset, died Dec. 1, 1997, at her residence.  Born
  March 5, 1940, in Boswell, daughter of Stanley A. and Thelma M. (Albright)
  Kowalczyk.  Preceded in death by father.  Survived by mother, Boswell; and
  husband, William George Tokar, to whom she was married for 36 years, and
  these children: Mrs. Mark J. (Pamela) Ickes of Somerset, William G. Tokar
  Jr. of Somerset.  Robert C Tokar of Louisville, Ky.; two grandsons, Bradford
  Ickes and Terrell Ickes; brother, Joseph J. Kowalczyk of Boswell.  Member of
  St. Peter's Catholic Church.  Life member and board member of Historical and
  Genealogical Society of Somerset County; Pennsylvania State Historical
  Volunteer of the Year in 1994.  She was a 1957 graduate of Jenner-Boswell
  Joint High School.  Also graduate of Shippensburg University. Owner of
  School Days since 1987.  Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 Wednesday at the
  Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home.  Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at
  10 a.m. Thursday at St Peter's Church, Somerset, with Msgr. Samuel J.
  Tomaselli as celebrant.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
  Contributions may be made to St. Peter's Catholic School, 433 W. Church
  St., Somerset, Pa. 15501, or Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave., Windber,
  Pa. 15963.  Wake service will be held at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral
