  MICHAEL J. TONKOVICH 
  
  Michael J. Tonkovich, 58, of 603 North St., Berlin, died Feb. 8, 1973, in
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born in Somerset County, Aug. 25, 1919, he
  was a son of Michael Joseph and Mary (Lippold) Tonkovich.  Surviving are his
  wife, the former Eleanor Swope; a niece, Mrs. Donald Hostetler, and a
  nephew, George Sivits, both of Garrett.  He was a member of St. Gregory's
  Roman Catholic Church; Fraternal Order of Eagles, Somerset; and Berlin
  Volunteer Fire Department.  Funeral Mass was sung in St. Gregory's Church,
  Macdonaldton, Saturday morning, with Rev. Father Z. H. Monet, O'Carm,
  officiating.  Interment in Berlin IOOF Cemetery.
