(Baker) Tooland, 71, of the Towers in Somerset, died Feb. 12, 1978 in the Somerset Community Hospital. Born Dec. 14, 1906 in Hooversville, a daughter of Charles and Irene (Manges) Berkebile. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Samuel Baker; one son, Glenn Younker; and a half-sister, Ruby Knipple. Survive by these children: Mildred Ludy of Mays Landing, N.J.; Jean, wife of Clyde Mostoller of Somerset; Richard of Somerset RD 5; Robert of Berlin: two stepsons: Harry Baker of Somerset RD 5; Arthur Baker of Somerset; and a foster-daughter, Eileen Baker of Shanksville; also 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and two sisters and one brother: Salome Taylor of Somerset; Orpha Davisson of Elmira, N.Y.; and Leo Younker of New Port Richey, Fla. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Monday in the Hoffman Building, 138 E. Main St., Somerset. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. John C. Cox officiating. Interment, Union Cemetery under the direction of Robert H.
