Born Aug. 15, 1912, in Windber, she was one month shy of 94. Daughter of William C. and Sarah E. (Naugle) Sharpe. Preceded in death by parents; husband, George T. Toomey; brothers, Albert, Clarence, Edward, George, Methven "Red" and William; also a sister, Mary Ellen Quinn. Survived by these children, Judith A., wife of Thomas Weaver, Venetia; and G. Thomas Toomey, married to the former Linda Pearl Hunter, Windber. Grandchildren, Thomas Jr., Daniel, Kevin, Douglas, Jonathan and Matthew. Also Brenda and Thomas and 10 great-grandchildren. Sister of, Sarah Jeanette, wife of Sheldon Lehman, Richland; Merle Sharpe and wife Lois, Richland; and Martha Ruth, wife of William Wetzel, Ga. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Retired employee W.T. Grant Store, Richland. Member of Daughters of the American Revolution. Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, at the William Kisiel Funeral Home, Windber, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Warren Lewis officiating.
