  TORRENCE
  
  Maxine D. Torrence, 51, of Stahlstown, formerly of Dawson, died July 1,
  1994, at Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe.  Born Sept. 5, 1942, in Connellsville,
  daughter of Esther (Christner) Swank and the late William Swank.  Survived
  by two daughters: Mrs. Charles Tanya Stafford of Ruther Glen, Va., and Erin
  Torrence, of Climax; four sons: James D. of Acme, Randy of Ligonier, Eric of
  Tennessee, and Brian of New Florence; 13 grandchildren; two sisters, Diana
  Maselli of Acme and Laurie Cook of Connellsville.  Employee of Somerset
  Plastic Co.  Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of service at
  2 p.m. today (Tuesday) in Ralph E. Galley Funeral Home in Dawson, with Rev.
  George Rath officiating.  Interment, Greenlick Cemetery.
