  Alice M. Torry, 48, of South Street, Berlin, died May 24, 1978 at Merey
  Hospital, Johnstown.  Born March 29, 1930 in Berlin, a daughter of the late
  Richard C. and Elta May Bingler.  Survived by three brothers: Eugene of
  Detroit, Mich.; Duane of Berlin and Ronald of Hollywood, Fla.  Member of
  Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin.  Friends will be received after 2 p.m.
  Friday in the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin, where services will be
  held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. Kenneth S. Swanson officiating.
  Interment, Berlin IOOF Cemetery.
