Traup, 93, of Berlin, formerly of Rockwood, died Jan. 10, 1987, in Berlin. Born June 5, 1893, in Bedford County, a daughter of William and Mary (Manspeaker) Woy. Survived by one son, Arthur Traup of Rockwood; one daughter, Mrs. Luther (Helen) Shaulis of Somerset; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur in 1958; her parents; six brothers; six sisters; two grandchildren ; and two great-grandchildren. She was a charter member of the Rockwood Volunteer Firemen's Auxiliary where she served as president for many years. Member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Rockwood, and the O.E.S., Trinity Chapter 138 of Somerset. Friends will be received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where services will be conducted Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. with her pastor the Rev. James Roth officiating. Interment, Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.
