Trautwein, 56, formerly of Oakland, MD, died Monday, November 6, 1989, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, MD. She was born September 5, 1933 in Baltimore, MD, the daughter of Francis D. McCarriar Jr., Baltimore, MD; and the late Thelma S. (Smith) McCarriar. She was a graduate of Eastern High School, Baltimore, MD, and the Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of the hospital's Nurses Alumnae. A registered nurse, she was formerly employed at Garrett County Memorial Hospital and currently worked at the Cuppett-Weeks Nursing Home in Oakland, MD. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church there. her father, she is survived by two sons: Charles G. Trautwein III, Grantsville, MD; and Craig R. Trautwein, Oakland. MD; three sisters: Ethel M. Smith, Lexington, KY: Barbara M. Henderson, Deer Park, MO, Stroh, Baltimore, MD; one bother, F.D. "Dave" McCarriar III, Baltimore, MD; three nephews, six nieces; and one great- nephew. The body will be cremated. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, November 18, at 2 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church, Deer Park, by the Rev. Father John A. Grant, the Rev.
