Born Jan. 24, 1910, in Gallitzin, son of the late Frank and Catherine (Piecheski) Trella. Preceded in death by wife, Anna Plaso, and these sisters and brother: Della Cyga, Cora Hilton, Mary Hantz, Wanda Janka, and Bernard. Survived by daughter, Carol, wife of Henry Goldring, Haverton, Pa.; two grandchildren, David and Suzanne, and these brothers and sisters: Steve, Acosta; Janice Huber, Elizabeth, NJ.; Matilda Pochocki, Chicago; John, Poland; Helen Socha, Elizabeth, NJ., and Stella Edward, Monroeville. Member of St. John's Roman Catholic Church, Acosta. Member of UMWA. Retired from Saxman Coal and Coke Co., Quecreek, and Florence Mining Co. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where wake service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. John's Church, Acosta, Rev. Father Raymond E. Karr. Interment, church cemetery in Ralphton.
