He was born in Somerset County, Nov. 11, 1867, a son of John and Mary (Pugh) Trent. His wife, the former Sevilla Garlitz, died about five years ago. Surviving are a son, John, of Akron, O., and five daughters, Mrs. Charles Motto, Cleveland, O., Mrs. Porter Hartline, Tompano, Fla., Mrs. Ruth Garber, Reedsville, Pa.; Mrs. Clarence Anderson, Bedford, and Mrs. Edward Hillegas, Boynton, with whom he made his home. Nine grandchildren and ten great- grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were held at the Hillegas home in Boynton last Sunday afternoon, in charge of Rev. Ira S. Monn, pastor of the Salisbury Evangelical and Reformed Church, of which the decedent was a member. Interment was made in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Salisbury, under the direction of W. C. Price & Son.
