Trent, 56, of East Main St., Somerset, and manager of the A&P Market there, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 1972, at his home. Associated with the A&P Company for 35 years, he was a former manager of the Meyersdale store. Born Feb. 8, 1916, in Wills Creek, he was a son of the late Morris M. Trent and Sarah Jane (Day) Trent of Friedens RD 1. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, the former Helen Murray; two children, Mrs. Donald (Donna) Patter, of Bridgeville; and Mrs. Terry (Sally) Hoffman of Somerset RD 3; and two grandchildren. He was a brother of Mrs. Wilbur Witt, Walter Trent and Mrs. John Logue, all of Somerset; Mrs. George Gluhak and Mrs. Robert Baer, both of Friedens RD 1; Frank of Cleveland, Ohio; and Kenneth of Chardon, Ohio; Jack of Johnstown; Eddy of Plymouth, Mich.; and William of West Hempstead, N. Y. A member of Trinity Lutheran Church and of Somerset Lions Club he was also a verteran of World War II. Funeral service was conducted Tuesday afternoon in Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset, by Rev.
