TRENT Dewey Hobesent Trent passed away in the Hazel McGilvery Hospital December 11, after a short illness. He was sick at his home for a week with what appeared to be "yellow jaundice." His condition grew worse, and he was removed to the hospital on Dec. 7, where he passed into a coma from which he did not rally. He was born in Boynton, April 1, 1919, and was aged 28 years, 8 months and 10 days, at the time of his death. He was the son of Hessiki and Mary (Bowers) Trent, both of whom preceded him to death. He is survived by his wife, Helen and son Dewey, Jr. Another child is expected in January. He is also survived by two brothers, Lewis and Lester Trent of Boynton; by two half-brothers, Noah Facenbaker, Meyersdale, and Fred Facenbaker, serving in the Army at Ft. Knox, Ky., and a half sister, Helen Clutter, of Salisbury. Funeral services were conducted Dec. 14, at the home of his mother-in-law, Mrs. Ada Forespring, Meyersdale, by Rev. H. K. Hilner. Interment in Union Cemetery. Pallbearers were Melvin Brown, Roy Brown, Norman Forespring, Raymond Ohler, William Glessner and George White. Meyersdale Republican, December 18, 1947
