  Ellis R. "Punkin" Trent Jr., 55, of Friedens, died July 16, 2001, at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born Oct. 18, 1945, in Somerset.  He was the son of Ellis
  and Anna (Miller) Trent Sr.  Preceded in death by parents and his wife, the
  former Donna Jean Glessner.  Survived by children, Todd, married to the
  former Debra Purbaugh, Stoystown, and also Lisa, Charles and Vicky Trent;
  two granddaughters, Cassandra and Brittany; one brother, Marlin Miller,
  married to the former Shirley Baumgardner, Friedens; and one aunt, Nellie
  Landis, Somerset.  He was a member of Jenner Rod & Gun Club.  Family will
  receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral
  Home, Stoystown, where service will be held 11 am. Thursday with Rev.
  Gerald E. Deffenbaugh officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial
  Park.  Memorial contributions may be sent to In Touch Hospice, 1590 North
  Center Ave., Somerset, Pa., 15501.
