  TRENT
  
  Eugene W. Trent, 56, of Somerset RD 6, died July 4, 1978 in Windber
  Hospital.  Born July 12, 1921 in Friedens, a son of the late Harry E. and
  Nannie (Zerfoss) Trent.  Preceded in death by parents and one son, Bradley.
  Survived by wife, Betty Jean (Johnston) Trent and these children: Rodney,
  married to the former Cathie Hein, Greensburg; Brenda, wife of Richard A.
  Pearson, Friedens; and Shelby Jean, at home.  Also five grandchildren and
  brother, Glenn A., married to the former La Verne Glessner, Johnstown, and
  sister Alverna, wife of Harold Alexander of Buffalo, N.Y.  Member of Trinity
  Lutheran Church, Somerset.  Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Thursday at
  the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where service will be conducted at 1:30
  p.m. Saturday, the Rev. H. James Meyers officiating.  Interment, Somerset
  County Memorial Park.
