Born April 30, 1908 in Somerset a daughter of Frank Spener and Mary (Zinn) Woy. Preceded in death by parents, sisters, Marian Snyder, Florence Bittner and Magdaline Fluck. She is survived by husband, Ernest Lincoln Trent to whom she was married 67 years. Also survived by children, Dr. Douglas E. Trent married to the former Ann Cargill of Hickory, N.C.; David W. Trent married to the former Judy Miller of Somerset; grandchildren: Dr. Craig Trent of Grove City; Douglas E. Trent of Louisville, Ky. Bradley M. Trent of Indianapolis, Ind.; Thomas A. Trent of Coral Springs, Fla.; Mrs. Samuel (Thursa) Crouse of Greensburg; Mr. Ty A. Trent, Dulles, Va.; 15 great-grandchildren. A 1925 graduate of Somerset High School, 1929 graduate of Hood College in Frederick, Md.; Retired in 1980 with 40 years of service as an English and Latin Teacher for Forbes High School and Somerset High School. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Forbes Road Chapter DAR. Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where a service will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Robert L.
