Trent, 80, Friedens, died Sept. 20, 1984, in Somerset Community Hospital. Born May 29, 1904, in Stonycreek Township, son of the late Josiah L. and Minnie (Shaffer) Trent. Also preceded in death by a brother, Orange, and two sisters, Vera and Alma. Survived by his wife, the former Mary (Dollie) E. Seier; and these children: Minnie May Yachere, Friedens; and Mrs. Charles (Luella) G. Speicher of Somerset; grandsons, Scott Yachere and Tom Speicher; also four great-grandchildren. Member of the Listie Lutheran Church; life member of Listie Volunteer Fire Department; Sweet Sixties; the UMWA; and Constructions Labor Union, Local 419. Death ended a marriage of 56 years. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m Sunday with the Rev.
