  TRENT
  
  Mervin M. Trent, 84, Friedens, died Dec. 28, 1983, at his residence.  Born
  April 11, 1899, in Friedens, a son of the late Alexander and Anna (Rayman)
  Trent.  Also preceded in death by one son, one daughter, three sisters and
  one brother.  Survived by his wife, the former Grace Walker, and these
  children: Bruce W., Friedens; Jay D., Hubbard, Ohio; Donald R., Friedens;
  Robert L., Somerset; Mrs. Guy (Nora) Sechler, Somerset; Lewis I., Friedens;
  and a foster daughter, Mrs. John (Pauline) Hoover, Somerset; 21
  grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.  He was a member of the Friedens
  Lutheran Church.  Death ended a marriage of 61 years.  Friends received from
  2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where
  services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. James Ling
  officiating.  Interment, Mizpah Cemtery.
