Born July 31, 1915, in Chicago, Ill. Son of the late Ralph Frank and Naomi (Baltzer) Trent Sr. Preceded in death by wife, the former Mary Sharrah Getty, who died June 2, 1993, and one brother, Clifford Trent. Survived by daughters: Mrs. Sally Bickleman, Dallastown; Mrs. William (Pamela) Brown, Elyria, Ohio; Ms. Kathy Lee Nedrow, Somerset; also six grandchildren: William A. Brown Jr., England; Leanna Brown, Elyria, Ohio; Eric Bickleman, Dallastown; Michael Nedrow, Somerset; Carolyn Brown, Elyria, Ohio, and Matthew Nedrow, Somerset; great-grandchildren: Tonya, Damien and Kenneth Brown. Brother of Ernest L. Trent and Mrs. Tekhla Whipple, both of Somerset, and Mrs. Ethel Goehring, Greenville. Retired toll collector for the Pa. Turnpike Commission. U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church and American Legion Post 181. A life member of VFW Post 554. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Hume, where service will he held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, with Rev. Robert L. Hoover Jr. officiating.
