  Viola G. Trent, 83, of Friedens RD 2, died May 16, 1986, at Somerset
  Community Hospital.  She was born June 4, 1902, in Allegheny Township, the
  daughter of the late James and Mary Minerva (Spaughy) Spangler.  Preceded in
  death by husband, Irvin Trent; one daughter, Miss Ruth Trent; three sons:
  Louis, Ralph and Fred; a sister, Mrs. Lottie Sarver; and three brothers:
  Walter, Samuel and Gilbert.  Survived by these children: John J. Trent,
  Friedens RD 1; Mrs. John (Sarah) Lavan, Somerset RD 4; Mrs. Marie Yinkey,
  Somerset RD 5; Mrs. F. Harry (Betty) Lavan, Somerset RD 6; Mrs. James (Mary
  Etta) Williamson, Friedens RD 2; Donald D., Friedens RD 2; Clifford E.,
  Somerset RD 7; 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.  Sister of Mrs.
  Leroy (Sarah) Foust, Friedens RD 1.  Member of Brothersvalley Church of the
  Brethren, Brotherton.  Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the
  Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home where service will be held Sunday at 1 p.m.
  with the Rev. Harold W. Ringler officiating.  Interment, Pike Run Cemetery,
  Brotherton.
