  MRS. SHERMAN TRESSLER
  
  Mrs. Anna Laura Tressler, 70, of Mountain Lake Park, Md., died June 30,
  1973, at her home.  A native of Bittinger, Md., she was a daughter of the
  late Peter and Mary (Brenneman) Opel.  She was a member of the Glade
  Mennonite Church of Bittinger.  Surviving are her husband, Sherman P.
  Tressler; four sons, Parke, Paul and Charles Tressler, Mt. Lake Park, and
  James Tressler of Sulphur, La.; four daughters, Mrs. Fern Staggs,
  Frostburg; Mrs. Leora Beitzel, Poolesville, Md.; Mrs. Dorothy Beitzel, Mt.
  Lake Park; and Mrs. Shirley Beitzel, Akron, Ohio; 35 grandchildren, 16
  great-grandchildren and a brother, Herman Opel, Accident, Md.  Funeral
  service was conducted Tuesday afternoon in Glade Mennonite Church with Rev.
  Melvin Nussbaum and Rev. Walter Otto officiating.  Interment in the church
  cemetery.
