  ARTHUR W. TRESSLER 
  
  Arthur W. Tressler, 79, known to his friends as Archie, died at his home in
  Stockton, Calif., last Nov. 14, local friends learned recently.  He was a son
  of John and Mary Beck Tressler and was born in Glencoe in 1896.  He was
  reared in the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Tressler in
  Glencoe. Mr. Tressler went to California about 1926.  He founded and
  operated Tressler Business Machines Co. from 1928 until his retirement in
  1962.  His last visit to this area was in 1971.  He was preceded in death by
  his parents; sisters, Bessie and Carrie.  He is survived by his wife, Sylvia
  ; daughter, Marlene, and son, A. W., Jr.; five grandchildren and two great
  grandchildren.  Interment was in Cherokee Memorial following funeral
  services in Stockton.
