  Audrey Elaine Tressler, 82 of Springs, died Thursday, May 1, 2008 at Conemaugh 
Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.
  She was born March 13, 1926 in Salisbury, the daughter of the late Lester and 
Gertrude (Hersh) Engle.
  Audrey is survived by her husband of 62 years, Elwood "Piney" Tressler; her 
daughter, Rhonda Hershberger and husband, Robert, Grantsville, MD; two 
granddaughters: Jodi Beaver and husband, Butch, Springs; Rachel Hershberger, 
Grantsville; a great grandson, William, Springs; two sisters: Phyllis Swauger, 
Salisbury; Hilda Shoemaker, Pittsburgh and a brother, Don Engle and wife, Norma, 
Baltimore, MD.
  Audrey was employed as manager of the Penn Alps Craft Shop for many years 
after which she and her daughter, Rhonda, operated their own Calico Crafts 
consignment shop in Grantsville until 1993. She was a graduate of Salisbury High 
School, Class of 1944 and a member of Springs Mennonite Church.
  Friends were received at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., 
Grantsville on Sunday. Services were conducted on Monday, May 5, 2008 in the 
Springs Mennonite Church with the Rev. Casey Rohrer officiating. Interment was 
in Springs Cemetery.

Association or Meyersdale Ambulance Association.
