Wolf, formerly of Dallastown, died June 23, 2002, at her home following a lengthy illness. Born on Feb. 19, 1923, in York, a daughter of the late William H. and Mary Ellen (Spangler) Rhoads, and stepdaughter of the late Catherine E. (Sites) Rhoads. She was the wife of the late Leonard J. Tressler. Survived by a daughter, Carol A. Deller, Manchester; a son, Earl R. Jr. of Mt. Wolf; two sisters Marion Gress of Manchester and Joyce E. Vandersloot of York; and a brother, Warren W. Rhoads of Bowie, Md. Retired in 1992 as a waitress at the Murphy's Store in Queensgate Shopping Center in York after 11 of years of employment. Prior to that she had been a waitress at the Bon Ton Tea Room, Grants, and Peoples Drug Store all in the York area. Member of the Pleasureville American Legion Post 799 Auxiliary in York and has lived in the Mt. Wolf since 1998, There will be no viewing. Following cremation by the Geiple Funeral Home Inc. 53 Main Street, Glen Rock, graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York.
