All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ CATHERINE TRESSLER Mrs. Catherine Miller Tressler died at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kimmel, in Addison Township, near Dumas, on Monday, April 14, at the age of 84 years, 2 months and 10 days. She had been ill for several months. Mrs. Tressler was born in Upper Turkeyfoot Township on February 4, 1846. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Barron Miller. When young she married Charles Tressler, who died July 5, 1926. To this marriage were born a large family. Her surviving children are: Mrs. Flora McClintock, Dumas; Milton Tressler, Listie; Mrs. Emma Earley, living near Uniontown; Bruce Tressler and Earle Tressler, Confluence; Mrs. Mary Collier, Jenners, and Mrs. Charles Kimmel in whose home she died. She is also survived by a large number of grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was for many years a member of the Evangelical church. Funeral services were held at the Kimmel home at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 17th, Rev. C. W. Raley, of Rockwood, officiating; interment in the Silbaugh cemetery in Addison Township.
