Tressler, retired coal miner, died at 2:30 on Wednesday afternoon at his home in Boynton, at the age of 75 years. He was born in Somerset County, Aug. 24, 1873, a son of J. O. and Maggie (Tearse) Tressler. Surviving are his wife, Ida (Siehl) Tressler, two sons, Charles Jr., at home, and Homer, Phoenix, Ariz., a brother, John, and a sister, Grace, both of Boynton. He was a member of the Meyersdale Methodist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at his home in Boynton at 2:30 Saturday afternoon, by his pastor, Rev. L. A. McKinley, assisted by Rev. Robert M. Earle. Interment in Union Cemetery under the direction of H. R. Konhaus. Meyersdale Republican, July 14, 1949
