"Bud" Tressler, 75, of Confluence died Aug. 30, 2002 at Henry Clay Villa, Markleysburg. He was born July 19, 1927 in Somerset, a son of the late Clayton L. and Rose (Shievel) Tressler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mabel F. (Hostetler) Tressler. Survived by sons Guy L. Tressler Sr. of Confluence and Clayton L. Tressler Jr. of Fort Hill and daughters Dana L. Burnworth and Rosemary McClintock, both of Confluence. Nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a sister Shirley Thomas of Oakland, Md. and a brother Ronald Tressler of Stanford, Fla. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and retired from the B&O Railroad after 27 years employment. Friends will be received from 2 until 9 p.m. Sunday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence where a service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Ronald Schaeffer officiating.
