  Dorothy "Dot" Tressler, 84, of Acosta died Sept. 24, 1994, in Conemaugh
  hospital, Johnstown.  Born Aug. 22, 1910, in Baltimore, Md. Daughter of the
  late Thomas and Fanny (Shipley) Foster.  Preceded in death by husband, Van
  "Tax"; three great-grandchildren and two brothers.  Survived by three
  daughters and three sons: Dolores Mack and Irene Weimer, Acosta, and Carol
  Ann O'Kinsky, Somerset RD 7; Tom and Carl, Wichita Falls, Texas, and Van
  Jr., Friedens.  Also 21 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and two
  sisters, Edith Rosman and Lulua Russo, both of Baltimore.  Member of Acosta
  Church of God.  Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and
  7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service
  will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, Rev. Keith Bell.  Interment,
  Sipesville Cemetery.
