TRESSLER, Everett Eugene

Everett Eugene Tressler, 84, Confluence, died May 27, 2006, at home. Born Oct. 
30, 1921 in Henry Clay Township, son of Arthur and Sadie (Hensel) Tressler. 
Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Warren, Blair, George and Howard; and 
sisters, Marie Clevenger Weller, Leona Nolf, Margaret Lee, Virginia Rugg, Betty 
Faidley and Ruth Crawford. Survived by his wife of 62 years, Genevieve (Hall) 
Tressler; a son, Everett, Jr. and wife, Brenda of Confluence; three 
grandchildren, Jeff of Illinois, Jarrod of Somerset and Linette at home. Also 
survived by five great-grandchildren, one step-great- grand-child and a sister, 
Mabel Shipley of Niles, Ohio. A member of Local 2274 Carpenters Union and the 
United Mine Workers of America. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. 
Tuesday at Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where a funeral service will be 
held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Dean Hay Jr. officiating. Interment, Jersey 
Cemetery. Family suggests memorial contributions to Somerset "In Touch" Hospice.
