Mr. Tressler had suffered a heart attack a short time ago following which pneumonia developed. He was longing for his home and when no hope was held for his recovery his wish was carried out. Mr. Tressler was a native of Springs, Pa., the son of Silas and Anne Summy Tressler, spending most of his life in that section, moving to the lower end of the county about eighteen years ago. After funeral services at his home, interment was made in the Addison Cemetery under the direction of William Winterberg, Grantsville mortician. Surviving are his wife, Mary Davis Tressler, four daughters, Edna, Alma, Confluence, Mabel, Corletta, three sons, Harold, Raymond and Enos, all at home, and one brother, Louis Tressler, Sand Flat. He will be greatly missed in his home community where he had many friends. He had a fine personality, was well informed and an interesting conversationalist. Meyersdale Republican, March 13, 1941
