(Nook) Howard A. "Nook" Tressler, 74, Confluence, died Feb. 9, 2006, at his home. Born June 7, 1931, in Lower Turkeyfoot Township, son of Arthur and Sadie (Hensel) Tressler. His parents; a son, Tim; brothers, George, Warren and Blair; sisters, Marie Clevenger Weller, Margaret Lee, Leona Nolf, Virginia Rugg, Betty Faidley and Ruth Crawford preceded him in death. Survived by his wife, Neva (Hyatt) Tressler, daughter, Juanita Warrick and husband, Randall, Marion, Ohio; and sons: Howard Kit Tressler and wife, Jody, Buckhannon, W.Va.; Gary Tressler and wife, Betty, Brett Tressler and wife, Pam and Bart Tressler and wife, Amy, all of Confluence; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Everett Tressler, Confluence; and a sister, Mabel Shipley, Niles, Ohio. He is a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and a member of Local 66 Western Pa. Operating Engineers, Monroeville; Ursina American Legion Post 946; United Community Church of God; and the Gold Wing Roadriders Association Chapter T, Somerset. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday. The Rev.
