  Irene Mae "Beanie" Tressler, 81, 141 Large St., Meyersdale, formerly of Berlin,
  died May 4, at the Beverly Healthcare in Meyersdale. Born May 14, 1923, in
  Berlin, she is the daughter of the late John and Edythe Mae (Musser) Bender.
  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry R. Tressler; a brother,
  Maynard Bender; and four sisters, Eleanor Bittner, Mildred Roetter, Genevieve
  Kovacik and Beatrice Helen Bender. Survivors include a son, Danny Tressler of
  Meyersdale, his friend, Debbie Yutzy and grandson, Dylan, also of Meyersdale;
  one brother, John R. Bender and wife Janet, sister-in law, Marie Bender, all of
  Berlin; nine nieces and nephews, and a number of great nieces and nephews. Mrs.
  Tressler was a homemaker, a member of the Lutheran Church and the Berlin
  Historical Society. Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Newman
  Funeral Home, Inc., 9168 Mason-Dixon Highway, Salisbury, where a funeral service
  will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Joe Byler officiating. Interment
  will be in the Salisbury Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at
