Tressler, 82, White Star Residence, Jennerstown, formerly of Quecreek and Somerset, died July 24, 1990 at Memorial Hospital. Born June 17, 1908 in Confluence. Son of Milton and Dorrie (Warrick) Tressler. Preceded in death by parents; first wife Dorothy Champanella, second wife Teressa Shaw; sisters, Mae Trimpey, Alice Shaw, Minnie Sigmund, and Edith; brothers, Edward and Gilbert. Survived by these stepchildren, Milton Shaw and Paul Shaw, both of Pittsburgh, David Shaw, Toledo, Ohio, and Teressa Flota, Hagerstown, Md.; several grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Brother of Grace Trout, Boswell RD 3. Member of Acosta Church of God and Jenners Local #1742 UMWA. Retired miner with over 41 years service. Last employed by former Saxman Coal and Coke Co., Quecreek. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 11 am. Friday, Rev. Charles L. McCollum.
