Michael M. Tressler, 28, West Chester, died May 19, 2008, at his residence. Born Dec. 11, 1979, in Meyersdale, he is a son of Michael K. Tressler, Oakland, Md., and Arlene (Stern) Yutzy, Springs. Surviving in addition to his parents is his beloved son, Lucas Tressler, Stafford, Va.; maternal grandparents, Herb and Martha Stern, Jennerstown; paternal grandparents, Don and Louise Tressler, Salisbury; brothers, Resley D. Tressler, Grantsville, Md.; Seth M. Tressler, Mountain Lake Park, Md.; and Lance E. Tressler, North Port, Fla.; aunts and uncles, Larry and Carol Stern, Berlin; Chuck and Elaine Finui, Carlisle; Melissa and John George, Salisbury; Melanie and Jerry Hoover, Fort Hill; stepsister, Jennifer Wolfe, Oakland; stepbrother, John Wolfe Jr., Texas; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mike attended elementary school in Salisbury, where he played little league baseball. He attended Southern High School where he was a member of the soccer team and was a U.S. Navy veteran from 2000 to 2004. Mike was a certified sales rep for David Dodge in Glen Mills, and attended St. Johns United Church of Christ in Salisbury. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by David A. Burdock Funeral Home, 21 North Second St., Oakland, MD 21550. Daily American, May 21, 2008 --- TRESSLER, Michael M. Funeral services for Michael M. Tressler will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home with the Rev. Mel Menker officiating.
