Tressler, 63, Markleton RD died Feb. 13, 1997, at Somerset Hospital. Born Feb. 8, 1934, in Upper Turkeyfoot Township, daughter of the late James and, Freda (King) Metheney. Also preceded in death by three daughters: Marie, Melissa and Lori; a grandson, Jason Tressler, and a brother, Raymond Metheney. Survived by her husband of 41 years, Clifford: two sons: Randy. Orlando. Fla., and James, married to the former Cathy Yoder, Markleton; two daughters: Vanessa George, Largo, Fla. and Rhonda, married to Ted Bowman, Somerset; eight grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; a sister, Nancy Marker, and a brother, Donald Metheney, both of Garrett. She was a member of the New Centerville Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, with the Rev. James Monticue officiating. Interment, Kingwood IOOF Cemetery. Family suggests memorial contributions to the New Centerville Volunteer Fire Department or the Kingwood or Old Bethel Churches of God.
