  Ruth M. Tressler, 66, Markleton RD 1, died Feb. 8, 1997. at her home.  Born
  March 12, 1930, in Upper Turkeyfoot Township.  Daughter of the late James A.
  and Lizzie (King) Younkin.  Preceded in death by husband, Robert F.; a
  sister, Sara May, and a brother, Melvin Younkin.  Survived by a son, Roger
  L., married to the former Susan Svonavec of Somerset; a daughter, Rose Mary
  Tressler, Markleton; 4 grandchildren: Elope D. Orndorff, Addison; Michelle
  Woy, Berlin, and Erin and Terra Woy, Somerset; 2 great-grandchildren: Devon
  Orndorff and Bricona Broadwater; 3 brothers: Charles Younkin, Connellsville:
  Robert Younkin, Somerset, and Paul Younkin, Markleton, and 3 sisters: Martha
  Knopsnyder and Mary Jane Pugh, both of Somerset, and Shirley Merryman,
  Ursina.  Member of Kingwood Church of God.  Friends are being received until
  9 p.m. today (Monday) at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where
  service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with Rev. James Monticue
  officiating.  Interment, Kingwood IOOF Cemetery.  Family suggests memorial
  contributions to the Kingwood Church of God or Somerset "In Touch" Hospice.
