  TRESSLER
  
  Sylvester E. Tressler, 85, of Confluence, died Aug. 3, 1998, at his home.
  He was born Feb. 27, 1913, in Fort Hill, a son of the late Elliott and
  Annie (Snyder) Tressler.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in
  death by his wife, Elizabeth (Myers), and a daughter, Donna Carosielli.
  Survived by a son, Austin, and his wife Doris of Confluence and a daughter,
  Janine Price of Redding, Calif.; four grandsons: Scott and Craig Anderson,
  Dale Tressler and Jason Price, and three granddaughters: Jane Anderson,
  Brenda Tressler and Cassandra Carosielli; also two great-grandchildren, a
  sister, Maude Kreger of Markleton, and a brother, George Colflesh of
  Confluence.  He was a member of Confluence VFW Post 7250, Turkeyfoot Fish &
  Game Association, the Ursina American Legion and Grantsville (Md.) American
  Legion.  Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. today and 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.
  Thursday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where services will be
  held at 1 p.m. Friday, with the Rev. William Triebe officiating.  Interment,
  Somerset County Memorial Park.
