  WALTER TRESSLER 
  
  Walter (Buck) Tressler, 82, of Markleton RD 1, died Sept. 30, 1983, in
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.  He was born May 30, 1901, in Upper
  Turkeyfoot Township, son of William and Cora (Growall) Tressler.  He is
  survived by the following children: Betty Faidley, Robert, Walter and
  Clifford, all of Markleton; Leonard, West Keansburg, N.J.; Mildred Pritts,
  Rockwood; Margie Tressler, Mechanicsburg; Nancy Handwork, San Diego,
  Calif.; James D., Fort Hill; Joyce Klink, Manassas, Va.; Carol Oswald,
  Spring, Texas; and Gerald, Moore, Okla.; two sisters: Mollie Kreger,
  Markleton; and Ruth Kreger, Somerset; 33 grandchildren and 27 great -
  grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by wife, Pearl; a daughter, Ruth
  Conn; four sisters and two brothers.  Friends were received at Humbert
  Funeral Home, Confluence, where services were held with the Rev. Stephen
  Show officiating.  Interment Kingwood Cemetery.
