Tressler, 88, Uniontown, died Oct. 10, 2004, at his daughter's home in Uniontown. Born Dec. 6, 1915, in Somerset County. Formerly of Jennerstown and Hico Texas. Preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, and son, Dennis, he is survived by his loving daughter, Dalana Tressler, grandchildren: Erin, Ben, Luke and Jennifer Widich, Derek Tressler and great-grandson, Braden Oxley. He also is survived by his sister, Elizabeth Hosmer, and nieces and nephews. Willard served with the 376th Liberandos in the African and European Theaters during World War II and after discharge worked as a body mechanic in Somerset for 35 years. Willard loved going to church, gardening, walking and attending his U.S. Air Corps reunions. He was a quiet American and will be sadly missed. Funeral and interment in Hico, Texas, with his wife and son. 10/12/2004 Daily American
