Trevarrow, 76, of Neville Island, Pa., formerly of Hooversville, died July 4, 1999 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was born Sept. 7, 1922 in Hooversville, son of the late Harry and Teenie (Bailey) Trevarrow. He is survived by his wife, the former Lois Snyder; and daughter Jean of Neville Island. Also survived by his brother Carl of Hooversville. He was a former accountant for Duquesne Brewery for 22 years and was an auditor/supervisor for the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue for 18 years, retiring in 1989. He was a member of Somerset F. and A.M. 358, Syria Temple, N.A.C.O. Caravan Number 19, West Hills Caravan Number 25, Scottish Rite, Johnstown V.F.W. and Penn Hills American Legion. He served as a corporal in the U.S. Army with the 819th Tank Destroyer Battalion during World War II. Family will receive friends from noon until services at 2 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Hooversville. The Rev. Douglas M. Diamond officiating. Interment P.O.S. of A. Cemetery in Hooversville. Masonic services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
