Trexel, aged 83, a well-known retired farmer of Jenner Township, died last Saturday morning at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John Taylor, following an illness of about a year. His wife, Mrs. Diana (Walker) Trexel, died May 10, 1922. He is survived by seven sons: Forest, of Conemaugh Township; Albert, Ferndale; Herman, of Jenner Township; Edward, of Plant City, Fla.; Wilmer, of Johnstown, and Robert, of Jenner Township, and one daughter, Mrs. John Taylor, with whom he made his home. He is also survived by an adopted daughter, Mrs. Clayton Thomas, of Thomas' Mills; 25 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Two sons preceded him to the grave. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Jenner Township, where funeral services were held Monday, in charge of Rev. J. S. Shannon, of Jennerstown. Meyersdale Republican, February 4, 1932
