Trimpey, 82, East Living Estates, Ligonier, formerly of Somerset, died March 3, 1993, at Latrobe Hospital. Born Oct. 1, 1910, in Humbert, Pa., son of the late William and Lila (Younkin) Trimpey. Preceded in death by his wife, Leona, in 1983; brothers: Ralph, Charles and Edward, and sisters: Mary Stairs, Bessie Berthold and Margie Faidley. Survived by brother, Harry Trimpey of Markleton, and sisters: Mabel Marker, Rockwood RD 2, and Esther Critchfield, Fishertown, Pa., and foster daughter, Barbara Benedek, Englewood, Fla. World War II veteran of the U.S. Army. Member Kingwood IOOF Lodge, Samuel S. Crouse Post 181, American Legion, Somerset. Member of Grace Methodist Church, Somerset. Retired teacher from Rockwood and Somerset area schools, where he taught industrial arts and social studies. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today (Thursday) at the Wilbur D.
