Wesley Trimpey, 69, died at his home in Somerset, Tuesday midnight, Feb. 21, after an illness of a year. He was born in Upper Turkeyfoot Township, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Trimpey and lived in Somerset 30 years. He worked for the Pennsylvania department of highways as a carpenter. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge of Kingwood. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertha Rhodes Trimpey, and four children - Charles H. Trimpey, Connellsville; M. E. Trimpey, Confluence; Mrs. Helen Doelp, York; John Trimpey, Sharon; also these sisters and brothers: Mrs. Freeman Lyons, Berlin; Mrs. Ella Roberts, Kingwood; E. Bert Trimpey, Baraboo, Wisconsin; George Trimpey, Acosta and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services were held Friday at 2:30 p.m., at the Trimpey home, with Rev. Ralph W. Huntsman, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiating. Burial in Somerset County Memorial Park. Meyersdale Republican, March 1, 1945
