Trimpey, 85, of Markleton passed on March 10, 2003 at home. Born October 17, 1917 in Upper Turkeyfoot Township. She was the daughter of the late Samuel G. and Martha (Firestone) King. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Harry in 1998, daughter Norma Jean Baker, sisters Mahala Younkin, Freda Metheny, Ruth Trimpey, Alice Miller, Olive Woods, Lola Conway, and Lily King and brothers Melvin, James, Ray, and Scott King. She is survived by children Barbara Shroyer of Markleton, Doris, married to Donald Johnson of Somerset, and William, married to Sally Trimpey of Markleton; 16 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Betty, married to Bob Baker and Warren Park King, married to Shirley both of Markleton. She attended Independent Bible Church in Markleton. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Independent Bible Church, Rev. Douglas Baker officiating.
