Main St., Westminster, Md., died March 25, 1984, at the Carroll County General Hospital after an extended illness. Born Sept. 11, 1903, at Hopewood, he was the son of the late John Wesley and Bertha (Rhoads) Trimpey. He was a construction superintendent for the George A. Fuller Co. of Washington, D.C., retiring in 1967 due to his health. He completed construction of the Sacred Heart Hospital in Cumberland, Md. Survived by his wife, Betty Wisseman Trimpey; and 14 children: Richard Wesley of Westminster; Mrs. Linda Powell of Hampstead; Mrs. Marlys E. Harris of Hanover; Miles E. of Erie; Gary E. of Connellsville; Mrs. Anne Dickstein, Holmdef, N.J.; Helen L. Heim of Edison, N.J.; Jane Tyle of Rochester, N.Y.; James E. of Coraopolis; William C. of Fair Oaks, Calif.; Mary Kozak of Pittsburgh; Patricia of Uniontown; two step-daughters: Donna Masters of Warren, Ohio; and Peggy L. George of Birmingham, Ala.; one sister, Helen Doe1p of York. Also survived by 29 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Private funeral services held at the Thomas D. Fletcher and Son Funeral Home in Westminster with the Rev. Richard D. Carson, pastor of Chancefor Lutheran Church in Red Lion, officiating. Burial, Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
