  TRIMPEY
  
  Ruth I. Trimpey, 73, of Confluence, formerly of Friedens, died Dec. 31,
  1992, at the Somerset Hospital.  Born Oct. 16, 1919, in Meyersdale, daughter
  of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Kerschensteiner) Herwig.  Preceded in death
  by her parents; husband, Andrew Trimpey, in 1968, and a brother, Robert.
  Sister of Mrs. Larry (Margie) Younkin and Kenneth Herwig, both of Cresson
  City, Fla.; Betty Atkins of Somerset; Frederick S. and Lloyd Herwig, both
  of Friedens; Shirley Adams of Lakeworth, Fla., and Mrs. Billie (Janet)
  Irwin of Fort Worth, Texas.  Member of Geiger Church of the Brethren.
  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Wilbur
  D. Miller Funeral Home, where funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m.
  Monday, with the Rev. Gerald Deffenbaugh officiating.  Interment, Kingwood
  IOOF Cemetery.
