She was born March, 20, 1909, in Friedens, a daughter of Albert and Cora (Engleka) Pugh. Last survivor of seven children; 5 brothers and 1 sister. Husband, Kenneth Trimpey, preceded her in death in 1956. She moved to Los Angeles in 1963. She was employed as a nurses aide for 12 years in the Research Center of Children's Hospital, Hollywood, Calif., from which she retired in 1974. Prior to moving to California, she worked for 4 years as a Practical Nurse at Somerset Community Hospital, Somerset. She is survived by two daughters, Phyllis Langley of Los Angeles and Mrs. Jerry (Shirley) Ross of San Diego, Calif.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, all residing in California. Preceded in death by infant daughter, Carole Jean. Family and friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and prior to memorial service to be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Robert Halverson Funeral Home, Somerset. Rev. Gerald Deffenbaugh will be officiating. Place of inurnment will be Berlin Cemetery. Daily American, July 13, 1995 [T619]
