Trimpey, 87, of Boston, Pa., formerly of Somerset County and Buena Vista, died Oct. 4, 2003, in Briarcliff Pavilion for Specialized Care in North Huntingdon. Born May 21, 1916, in Somerset County, daughter of Mahlon Knox and Minnie (Frazee) Knox. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Charles A. Trimpey, and son, Lester Trimpey. Survived by four sons: Clifford, Latrobe; Everett, Lexington, N.C.: Ivan, Port Vue; and Roger, Buena Vista; three daughters: Ella Jean Willard, White Oak; Lois Nemec, Florida; Mary Rybaski, Greenock; two brothers James Merle Knox, Somerset; and Floyd Knox. Confluence; 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was a 40-year member of the Merritt Primitive Methodist Church of Buena Vista; member of the Missionary Society and Sunday school teacher, also a member, of the Senior Citizens of Boston. Family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ralph L. Johnston Funeral Home, Buena Vista. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Merritt Primitive Methodist Church, with the Rev. Dennis Moriarty officiating. Interment, Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Township.
