Born Oct. 29, 1920, in Madison, a son of Millard Stanley Troup and Alice Dale Williams. Preceded in death by parents; son, David A. Troup and infant daughter. Survived by his wife, the former Helen Louise Magill, to whom he was married for 60 years; children, Dennis Troup married to the former Dana Conn, Somerset, and Mrs. Jim (Beverly) Perkins, Centennial, Colo.; grandchildren, Mrs. Mark (Donna) Phillippi, Somerset, Mrs. Steven (Dawn) Will, Friedens, Dean Troup, London, England, Elizabeth and Benjamin Perkins, Centennial, Colo.; great- grandchildren, Brittany and Tyler Will. A brother to Mrs. June Harrison, Yountville, Calif., Mrs. Maxine Jensen, Napa, Calif., and John Troup, Napa, Calif. A member of the Bethany United Methodist Church and Sugarbush Antique Car Club. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a retired Jefferson Township dairy farmer. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Bethany United Methodist Church. Mr. Barry K. Ritenour officiating. Interment, Bethany Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Bethany United Methodist Church in memory of Mr. Troup.
